FLASH ACTIONSCRIPT ROTATING FLYING SAUCER CODE LESSON

In this lesson, students learn how to code a flying saucer graphic and rotate it with Actionscript 3. . Rotating an object can be problematic especially when the object is created with code. The object, most often, must be drawn such that it has a reference point that is at the origin of the flash stage. The AS3 API object, methods and properties used in the lesson include addEventListener, function, graphics.lineStyle, graphics.lineTo, graphics.beginFill, graphics.endFill, graphics.moveTo and rotation

In the program the flying saucer rotates about its center. The center of the flying saucer is its rotational point of reference.
